The Microsoft Teams Planner App releases new functionality

Microsoft has updated the Planner app in Teams with new features to improve accessibility and usability.

In order to communicate their ideas with team members, users can now obtain quick links to their planners. An overflow menu can be clicked to receive a link for any plan. Moreover, it is feasible to quickly transition from examining a single activity to monitoring the entire plan.

With this feature, you can easily distribute your plans to team members so that they can all view them with a single click. Choose "Copy link to plan" from the overflow menu of a plan on the My Plans page to utilize this functionality.

There have been recent revisions to the Viva Connections "Assigned tasks" card. Users may now add tasks and launch the entire Planner software instantly. Microsoft claims that clients are presently receiving these upgrades.

Companies that use Planner for team progress tracking and project management should find the additional features helpful.

The Planner app for Teams still lacks numerous capabilities as compared to third-party project management applications, despite the positive revisions. Microsoft may eventually close more of these holes as they have been making improvements to this program over time.
